Out-Building Fire

Thu, Feb 4th, 2010 8:39:00 am -

At 8:39am on February 4 – station 4-5 was dispatched to 4940 Lincoln Highway East (Salisbury Twp) for a building fire. Chief 4-5 (Brubaker) arrived on scene with command and reported a fully involved out-building. Later it was learned that the building housed an out-door furnace with wood storage inside.

E4-5-2 responded with 5 and was instructed to pull hand-lines and attack the fire. Tanker 4-5 arrived with 4 and supplied E4-5-2 with water.

Engine 4-7-2 established a fill-site at the Kinzer Quarry with Tankers 4-4, 4-3 & 5-2 participating in the tanker shuttle.

Truck 4-2, Engine 4-2-2 & squad 4-2 assisted on scene with man-power.

Over-haul was preformed and units were returned/available at 10:05am.
