Vehicle vs Horse & Buggy - 790 Strasburg Rd (Rt 741)

Mon, Jan 30th, 2012 3:47:00 pm - On January 30, 2012 (Monday) at 15:55 – Engine 4-5-2 was dispatched to the area of 790 Strasburg Rd (Rt 741) for a vehicle accident – class 1. Intially Sta 4-7 was dispatched for this call, however upon arrival of Chief 4-7-3 it was determined to be in Station 4-5's running territory and thus E4-5-2 was dispatched. Additonal received via LCWC was vehicle vs horse & buggy – unknown injuries.

Engine 4-5-2 responded with 5, and assumed command. Patients were in care of EMS and the horse was taken to a neighboring farm. Upon completion of PSP's investigation the buggy & debris were moved from the road-way, and the truck involved was towed.

Rt 741 was closed via fire police from Sta 4-5, 4-7 & 4-2.

KFC returned available at 16:52
